We were tasked with producing a project which documented a topic of our choice, I began with exploring the structures within the streets in Vienna, Austria. I used both analogue and digital photography and combined them in a book with a section made entirely from original lithographic prints.
Noticing that I wasn't able to fully develop this project with this topic, I began documenting the workings of Ronald McDonald House Brighton. This charity helps families of sick children stay together by offering parents accommodation close to their children in hospital. I decided to interview staff members, past occupants and a family who is currently staying in the Ronald McDonald rooms in hospital. I then combined them into a handmade book with a book cloth cover printed using lithography.
