The Visual Synopsis project required us to explore the themes and topic of our dissertation in a visual video graphic way. My dissertation investigated the manipulation and alteration of historical events within television and docudramas. To further explain this idea I used the Netflix produced series ‘Narcos’ which is based on the events of the life of infamous drug lord Pablo Escobar. The one minute video explains these ideas through the combination of actual footage and footage manufactured by Netflix.
